Adaptive Bitrate streaming in Mobile Cloud Gaming
(Research Project)
- Designed and develop a full pipeline of video streaming prototype for cloud gaming.
- Monitor network condition on the client and report the parameters perdiocally to the gaming server.
- Adapt the video and redundancy rate according to the network parameters using heiristic algorithm.
- Adapt the video and redundancy rate according to the network parameters using Reinforcment Learning.
- Evaluated model reliability and responsivness systimatically and via user study.
Edge-assisted driving awareness on the roads
(Research Project)
- Implemented a a framework for real-time vehicle data streaming and processing using Apache Kafka and Spark.
- Set up the framework for detecting unsafe driving activities at the edge of vehicles network (using roadside units).
- Evaluated model reliability and responsivness using reality-like PC-based deployment.
